Admissions

Our admissions process is very easy and short. Just follow the next steps and start your creative education!

Easy steps to apply:

  • Submit your application with required documents.
  • Interview with an admission advisor. Set an appointment with us here on our email.
  • Accept offer & pay tuition.
  • Apply for a study permit.

A Completed Application Contains the following Documents:

For Canadian Citizens & permanent Residents:

  • Completed application form.
  • Copy of proof of Citizenship (Birth certificate, Permanent Resident Card).
  • Copy of the latest transcript.
  • Copy of BC Care Card (MSP).
  • 2 pieces of Portfolio (If you would like to apply to Art Major Colleges/Universities).
  • Application fee of $250 (non-refundable).

For International Students:

  • Completed application form.
  • Application fee of $250 (non-refundable).
  • Copy of the latest transcript.
  • 2 pieces of Portfolio (If you would like to apply to Art Major Colleges/Universities).
  • Copy of Passport ID page.

Download and Submit

Complete the application form and submit supporting documents to the Admissions Department in either two ways:

  • Email all documentation to: admission@ciraschool.com
  • Drop off at the school: Canada Royal High School, 896 W 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 3Y1.

Submit two pieces of artwork (A4 paper size). Choose from the following types:

  • Sketch.
  • Color.
  • Creativity.

Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to partake in an interview (phone, Zoom, etc.) to determine eligibility and assess student’s needs. This allows families to see the school and the administration team to meet possible students and ask any questions they may have.

Conditional letter of acceptance & Tuition invoice

After the review of the interview, the conditional letter of acceptance and tuition invoice will be issued to the qualified student. Our school provides several payment options for students. Please contact us for more information.

Letter of acceptance & Tuition receipt

After confirmation of tuition deposit payment, an official letter of acceptance and tuition receipt will be issued to the student.

Study Permit

International students may apply for a study permit. Go to the Government of Canada’s Website for Applications to Study in Canada for more information.

  • Summer School Duration

  • Registration

    To register for a Summer School course, you will require a PEN (Personal Education Number) and birth date. Please ensure you have this information prior to the opening day of registration. The PEN is a unique 9-digit number issued to every student enrolled in a BC school and can be found on each student’s progress report. If you do not have this information, please request it from your home school.
